Is Online Shopping Secure?

We don’t capture any personal or financial information from you to place items in a shopping basket. You’ll notice that this part of the process doesn’t need to be secure. However, once you’ve filled your basket and begin the Checkout process, you will be in a SECURE mode for shopping. This secure mode uses Secure Sockets Layer (SSL), the most widely used robust encryption and security protocol. Microsoft Internet Explorer and Mozilla/Firefox should show a padlock in the locked position at the bottom of your screen. Other browsers may use a similar scheme to display your presence on a secure site. This will help you visually verify that you are on a secure connection. In addition, the credit card authorization process is completed using PayPal, one of the most respected names in e-business. They also offer additional buyer protections for your transaction. Between these two, we feel confident in the security of our transactions on the server side.

Please be aware that you should practice computer safety on your computer as well, assuring that your computer is virus-free, that your virus scanning software and signatures are up-to-date, and that your computer is free from spyware and other potential surfing hazards. We cannot be responsible for the security of the individual computer used to access our site.

You can also print and/or download our order form and mail or fax that to us along with your information.

Do Cookies Need to Be Enabled to Order?

Yes. Our shopping software, maintains a shopper’s selections in a cookie that is stored on your machine. This cookie links you to your Shopping Basket. Each time a page is loaded, the program reads this cookie and keeps your shopping basket current. This is our only use of cookies on the site. No personal or shopping item information are stored in this cookie.

You may freely browse our store without having to enable cookies. However, if you wish to shop online, you must temporarily enable cookies or select appropriate “trust” functions in your browser software to accept cookies for our website. Refer to your browser’s help file for information on changing your security settings.

What Credit Cards do you accept?

We accept VISA, MasterCard, American Express and Discover Cards.

Limitations on Ordering?

At this time, orders are restricted to the United States and Canada. Please contact us if you are in another country and wish to fulfill your order.

Are Personal/Business Checks Acceptable Forms of Payment?

Yes, we can accept such checks. However, the order fulfillment process will not begin until the check has cleared. Returned checks will be subject to a penalty of $3.00.

What Currencies are Acceptable for Payment?

Payments may only be made in U.S. dollars. No other currencies will be accepted.

What are the Shipping and Handling Charges?

Shipping and Handling will be added to your order during the final checkout process. It is calculated based on the merchandise total of your order and calculated in the following manner:

How Long Will It Take for Me to Receive My Items?

Please allow 7-10 business days for the receipt of your order.

How Are Items Shipped?

Items are shipped via USPS (US Postal Service) ground services unless otherwise requested.

Are Rush Orders Possible?

If you desire to make a rush order you will need to contact us directly to determine shipping method and costs.

How are Taxes Calculated?

Items are shipped from California. Under current internet commerce law we must charge taxes on items purchase in the same state from which they are shipped. Thus items bought from California residents will be charged a state sales tax, currently 7.75% of the ordered hard good items.

Will My Information Be Kept Private?

Yes, we will use the information provided with your order for purposes of completing your order and for appropriate follow-up. This information is also placed within a contact database that we use from time-to-time to contact you with information on important news and information. This data is only used for In-House purposes and will not be distributed or sold to another company or person for their use. You may also refer to our Privacy Policy. If you do not wish to be contacted outside of your order, you may opt-out from our contact list.
