Located in the Gaslamp district, San Diego’s newest comics shop, Boomshop of Comics, hosted their very first “drink & draw” event for local cartoonists on Thursday evening, October 9th. Troy, Gio, and their staff were engaging hosts and made sure everyone was comfortable and had a beverage of their choice! Enjoyed, as always, chatting with comics artist Mark Irwin and meeting San Diego’s longtime cartoonists as well as up-and-coming cartoonists. And the model (with her dog, Snuggles) was a delight. If you live in San Diego (or visitng), drop in on Boomshop of Comics (located on Fifth Avenue, between E & F)– it’ll be worth your while!
