Happy New Year, everyone! And with 2014, there’s a spanking new, updated Exhibit A Press website . . . and this here blog, as well! I hope you will refer to this site and my blog as a way to keep updated on all things Wolff & Byrd and other projects I’ve been working on. And, yes, it’s the “other projects” that forced me to put the Supernatural Law webcomic on hiatus. I guess that’s as good a segue as any to blog my first update . . .
Webcomics Nation, where the Supernatural Law webcomic has had a berth since its premiere in 2005, has apparently shut down. The late Joe Manly, who founded WCN, sold the site to E-Line Media shortly before his untimely death. I thought the new owners might be doing some maintenance on the site but it seems to be down for good. Regardless, plans are for the current SLaw storyline to resume, at www.supernaturallaw.com. I will let you know when our Counselors of the Macabre will reconvene after their extended continuance!
In upcoming blog entries, I’ll let you know of some of the commitments that have taken me away from Supernatural Law. However, in no way, have I abandoned Wolff & Byrd (or Mavis, for that matter!)! A new trade paperback, The Werewolf of New York, was released (or did it escape?) in October of 2013. It is my first full-color, full-length graphic novel. And I wrote, drew, and colored a new Wolff & Byrd story for Steven Frank’s Zombies Vs. Cheerleaders trade paperback, published by 5Finity Productions.
See you next time. For now, enjoy the revamped Exhibit A Press site. I’m also on Facebook, Twitter, and now Tumblr. And, if you are so inclined, “Like” the Supernatural Law Facebook page. Viva la New Media!
