Batton and Jackie had a great time at the first iteration of CXC in Columbus, Ohio on October 1-3. Special guests included Art Spiegelman, Françoise Mouly, Bill Griffith, Jaime Hernandez, Kate Beaton, and Jeff Smith, who is also one of the organizers of an event that is sure to become a major force on the comics scene in the coming years.
Here are a few photos from the weekend, which took place at multiple venues in Columbus, most notably the Billy Ireland Comics Library and Museum at the Ohio State University. You can also find a nice write-up by Frank Santoro and John F. Kelly at tcj.com.
