Jackie and Batton had a wonderful time as guests at this intimate comics show at the Town & Country Hotel. It was a great chance to hang out with fellow fans and creators and talk about comics, fandom, and San Diego’s rich history of involvement in the comics world. Jackie moderated a panel on nonfiction graphic novels and anther about the Do’s and Don’ts of Kickstarter campaigns, as well as presenting a program on her book Comic Book People. Batton gave a workshop for kids and interviewed his old friend from his School of Visual Arts days, John Holmstrom.
